The shortest motorway vignette has been on sale for a year and is popular with domestic and foreign motorists alike
Of the vignettes sold, 61% were purchased by foreign motorists and 39% by domestic motorists. Most buyers (62%) purchased theirs through www.eznamka.sk. Among foreign drivers, the most frequent buyers were Czech (14%), German (10%), Polish (9%), Austrian (7%) and Hungarian motorists (5%). Among physical outlets, the Brodské–Břeclav motorway border crossing sold the most one-day motorway vignettes, with more than 70,000 sold.
The shortest motorway vignette is valid on the date selected by the customer, until midnight of that calendar day. It costs €8.10. NDS recommends that motorists use only its official sales channels to purchase a motorway vignette. Electronic motorway vignettes can be purchased easily online at www.eznamka.sk or through the eZnamka mobile app. Motorists can also buy them at petrol stations or information and sales points at motorway border crossings.
