NDS unveils its 2026 motorway vignette range
Motorway vignettes from the 2026 range will go on sale a month earlier than in previous years. Prices remain unchanged. NDS once again urges motorists to use official sales channels when purchasing, avoiding additional fees and potential complications with complaints.
Since NDS assumed responsibility for the motorway vignette sales system, it has introduced a number of positive changes. These include adding a one-day motorway vignette to its portfolio, redesigning the website and expanding payment methods for motorway vignettes by enabling online purchases through Apple Pay and Google Pay. This has significantly enhanced customer convenience. “The changes give drivers more convenience and flexibility when buying motorway vignettes. Purchasing is faster, easier and tailored to modern technology,” said Peter Braška, Director of Tolling and IT at NDS.
Since January 2025, the rules for purchasing all types of electronic motorway vignettes have also been harmonised. While motorists had previously been able to defer a vignette’s start date by 13 days from the date of purchase, the latest vignette range allows this to be postponed by up to 60 days. The longer lead time makes planning easier: drivers can buy their motorway vignette in advance and align its validity with their travel plans.
The 365-day motorway vignette remains priced at €90, the 30-day vignette costs €17.10, the 10-day vignette is available for €10.80 and the one-day motorway vignette costs €8.10. Motorists will therefore continue to pay the same prices as this year.
“We continue to urge motorists to buy their motorway vignette exclusively through official channels. This ensures they obtain a valid vignette safely and at the lowest price,” says Peter Braška, Director of Tolling and IT at NDS. Motorway vignettes remain available via www.eznamka.sk, the eZnamka app or information and sales points at border crossings.
